Murcia Comenius Visit - June 21th - 30th - Itinerary

Monday 21st June

Newstead Wood students have maths exams.
Coach to pick up Spanish students from their Youth Hostel on Monday afternoon. Coach to drop off at Newstead Wood School. Parents to pick up from there.

Tuesday 22nd June

Newstead students to accompany their partners to school.
Visit to London. 9:30 train to Victoria. Take bus or walk up to Buckingham Palace. See Changing of the Guard. Walk down The Mall to Trafalgar Square and visit The National Gallery. Shopping time in Covent Garden. Return to Orpington Station at 5:30.


Wednesday 23rd June

Newstead students to accompany their partners to school. Treasure hunt & shopping in Bromley during the morning. Back for lunch with partners at Newstead Wood. Sports Day in the afternoon.


Thursday 24th June

Newstead students to accompany their partners to school. Visit to London. 9:30 train to Victoria. Tube to South Kensington. Visit to National History Museum & some time for shopping and lunch in South Kensington. Afternoon visit to The British Museum. Return to Orpington Station 5:30.


Friday 25th June
Day in school spent with partner observing English school Day
Newstead students to accompany their partners to school. Partners to attend lessons with them and have lunch with them. Whole school day.

Saturday 26th June
Day spent with host families.

Sunday 27th June
eFinal revision day for Newstead students if necessary.
Newstead students to accompany their partners to Newstead Wood School. Meet in Tennis club car park at 9:00.
Day trip to Brighton by coach. Newstead Wood students can attend if they are up to date with their science revision. Pick up at school at 6:00pm.

Monday 28th June

Newstead Wood students have science exams.
Newstead students to accompany their partners to school.
Visit to London: 9:30 train to London Bridge. Walk along South Bank & see the Globe Theatre, visit The Tate Gallery, cross The Milenium Bridge and see St. Paul’s Cathedral. Return to Orpington Station at 4:00.
Trip to a show in London in the evening. Not booked yet.

Tuesday 29th June
Drama day
Students work together to act out the drama work prepared by the Spanish students.

Wednesday 30th June
Drama day continue developing plays & possibly other drama activities.Coach to Gatwick airport after school to check in 17:00.

EL INSTITUTO HA CONTRATADO UN AUTOBÚS PAR LLEVAROS A ESPINARDO Y TRAEROS DE VUELTA.

EL AUTOBÚS SALE A LAS 15.00 DEL INSTITUTO.

POR FAVOR, ES IMPORTANTÍSMO QUE SEAIS PUNTUALES.
EN EL AULA GENERAL DE ESPINARDO, FRENTE A LA FACULTAD DE MATÉMATICAS HAY QUE ESTAR MEDIA, POR LO MENOS 1/2 ANTES.

MAÑANA SE CONFIRMA LA HORA DE SALIDA DEL IES PARA COMER Y VOLVER A LAS 14.50.
SE OS TIENE QUE DAR MAÑANA UNA AUTORIZACIÓN PAR QUE LA FIRMEN VUESTROS PADRES.

* CUANDO SE DICE QUE EL TIEMPO HA CONCLUIDO,
NO SE PUEDE ESCRIBIR MÁS Y
SE DEJA EL LÁPIZ SOBRE LA MESA.

* DURANTE LA 1ª HORA DEL PAPER 1 NO SE PUEDE SALIR,
NI LOS 10 ÚLTIMOS MINUTOS.




1) Si los resultados suponen un 70% de los aciertos, se obtendrá el B1.

Si los resultados oscilan entre el 49 y 60% de los aciertos, se obtendrá el A2.
( Niveles de adquisición establecidos y reconocidos por la Comunidad europea.)

2) Se puntúa por bandas del 1 al 5 .

3) Ninguna prueba es eliminatoria. Una nota compensa las otras. Se debe acertar un 25% en cada apartado.

4) El registro que se use se debe mantener a lo largo de todo el examen.
Si se usa el americano, ex. program, center,neighbor no se puede cambiar al británico poniendo programme, centre, o neighbour más adelante.

5) Se penaliza algo si se ponen + de 20 palabras de las pedidas en el Writing.

6) Todos los CONTENIDOS QUE SE PIDAN del Writing se deben incluir.Si se pide que en una carta pongais, por ejemplo.:

* disculpaos,( apologize for that.)

* decid por qué no podeis ir con vuestro amigo al cine (give reasons why you cannot go to the cinema.)

* y aplazarla para otro día (postpone it some other time)

Todos estos apartados deben estar incluidos.

7) EN EL ORAL SE LLAMARÁ A LOS ALUMNOS POR ORDEN DE MATRÍCULA. ES MUY IMPORTANTE QUE SEPAIS VUESTRO NÚMERO DE MATRÍCULA.













8) "The answer sheet" naranja es para el Writing 1 y 2 (completar frases y redacción de 35 palabras - 3 o 4 líneas aprox.)



" The answer sheet"rosa es para el writing 3 ( redacción de 100 palabras- 10 o 12 líneas aprox.) De las dos posibles redacciones 7 u 8 , especificar en "the answer sheet" la opción que habeis elegido.



9) Hay que firmar todas las "answer sheets"

10) No se penaliza si se contesta mal. Consejo: Contestad todo.

11) TENED CUIDADO EN PONER LA RESPUESTA DE LA PREGUNTA 2 EN EL HUECO 2 DE "THE ANSWER SHEET". RESPETAD EL ORDEN DE LA NUMERACIÓN.

12) TENEIS 6 MINUTOS PARA PASAR LAS RESPUESTAS DEL LISTENING A "THE ANSWER SHEET".

13) EL LISTENING SE OYE DOS VECES.

14 "QUESTION PAPER " PARA EL LISTENING HAY QUE PONER EL NOMBRE Y Nº DE CANDIDATO (SE COPIA DEL "THE ANSWER SHEET) Y SE ENTREGA JUNTO CON " THE ANSWER SHEET" HAY QUE MANDARLO A CAMBRIDGE.

15. " QUESTION PAPER" PARA EL READING AND WRITING NO ES NECESARIO PONER EL NOMBRE DEL CANDIDATO. SOLO APARECE EN "THE ANSWER SHEET".
